Job summary

OPEN Healthcare US is seeking Part-time Courier Drivers to join the Client Services team in California. You will pick up and deliver medical specimens, maintain chain of custody, and log deliveries with care and accuracy.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, own reliable car, and familiarity with GPS/routing apps. Shifts are 4–6 hours daily, Mon–Fri or Sat options, with mileage reimbursement and cellphone allowance details provided.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Own vehicle in good condition; willing to drive your own car for company business.
• Proof of auto insurance required.
• Proficient with GPS and routing apps for route management.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
• Strong organization and detail orientation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Pickup and deliver medical specimens between healthcare facilities and our laboratory.
• Ensure proper handling, labeling, and chain of custody of specimens.
• Maintain delivery logs and electronic records.
• Communicate specimen status and schedules with staff and clients.
• Conduct vehicle inspections and maintain cleanliness for safety.
• Report delays or discrepancies to supervisor promptly.
