Job summary

MedSpeed in Omaha, NE is seeking a part-time Medical Courier Driver. You will spend most days in a company-owned vehicle, safely transporting lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals and related materials to clinics and facilities while upholding accuracy and professional service.

The schedule includes Sundays 10:45am–5:00pm and Mondays 6:45am–5:30pm, with ongoing training, potential for career advancement, benefits, a company vehicle, and fixed schedules.

Qualifications

• Must have strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Age 19+ with an active driver’s license for at least 3 years.
• Reliability and dependability with a good driving record.
• Able to use technology and follow procedures closely.
• Able to determine efficient routing between multiple points.
• Must pass initial and random drug and alcohol screens.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and walking long distances.

Responsibilities

• Spend most days in a company-owned vehicle transporting lab specimens, medical records and related materials.
• Operate a hand-held scanner to track items through the transportation cycle.
• Follow all policies, procedures and service schedules with professionalism.
• Present a professional image to clients and the public.
• Load and unload items and demonstrate safe driving behavior.
• Conduct vehicle inspections and maintain a clean vehicle.
• Adapt to various routes and collaborate with teammates and clients.
