Job summary

Highmark Health is seeking an analytics-focused professional to transform medical cost data into strategic insights. You will leverage SAS, SQL, Python, and R to analyze large datasets, build dashboards, and present findings to executive partners.

The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to quantify program value and track outcomes. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in Medical Economics or Healthcare Analytics, with advanced degrees and strong data visualization skills in

Qualifications

5 years of Medical Economics, Healthcare Analytics, Informatics and/or Actuarial Services in the health care payer sector.
Strong coding background (R, R Shiny, Python, SQL, etc.). Experience building dashboards in Tableau, Power BI, or R Shiny.
Strong Technical Data Skills (SAS / SQL, R, Tableau, Excel, etc.)

Responsibilities

Provide strategic/tactical insights into emerging medical cost trends and present to stakeholders.
Develop the value of programs, track outcomes, and provide strategic insights into focus areas.
Coordinate savings opportunity projections and post-implementation savings measurements.
