The role requires strong statistical and visualization skills (SAS/SQL, R, Tableau) and the ability to present findings to senior leaders. You'll collaborate across departments in a matrixed environment to drive cost optimization initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Health, Economics, or related field.
• 5 years in Medical Economics or Healthcare Analytics in payer sector.
• Experience with SAS/SQL and data visualization tools.
• Ability to present analytics to senior stakeholders.
• Healthcare industry knowledge of cost trends.

Responsabilités

• Provide strategic insights into emerging medical cost trends and present executive-ready findings.
• Extract, summarize and analyze large datasets using SAS, SQL, or similar tools.
• Offer opportunity assessments and forecast savings for strategic medical cost programs.
• Leverage analytics to identify cost drivers and inform business partners.
• Deliver clear, concise presentations of analytics to executives.
• Collaborate in a matrixed environment with other departments.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
