Highmark Health is seeking a seasoned analytics professional to transform large medical cost datasets into strategic, executive-ready insights. The role centers on developing program value, tracking outcomes, and identifying cost-saving opportunities across multiple business partners.

The ideal candidate will have a strong coding background (R, Python, SQL), experience building dashboards in Tableau/Power BI, and deep knowledge of SAS/SQL data skills within the health care payer space.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Health, Economics, Mathematics/Actuarial Sciences or related field.
• Master's Degree in Business, Health, Economics, Mathematics/Actuarial Sciences or related field.
• 5 years of Medical Economics, Healthcare Analytics, Informatics and/or Actuarial Services in the health care payer sector.
• Strong coding background (R, R Shiny, Python, SQL, etc.). Experience building dashboards in Tableau, Power BI, or R Shiny.
• Strong Technical Data Skills (SAS / SQL, R, Tableau, Excel, etc.)
• Experience in the healthcare Industry with knowledge of emerging trends and challenges.

Responsabilidades

• Develop the value of medical cost analytics programs and track outcomes.
• Provide strategic/tactical insights into emerging medical cost trends.
• Present analytics and insights to key business partners in clear, executive-ready formats.
• Coordinate savings opportunity projections and post-implementation savings measurements.
