Job summary

Remote Co. is seeking a Content Editing Associate in the United States, with a hybrid schedule (roughly 8 days per month) across multiple locations including Waltham, MA.

The role involves working closely with physician deputy editors to drive progress in a medical specialty, coordinating with external authors and reviewers, and managing editorial workflows from manuscript styling to final publication. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent proofreading, communication, time management, and organization skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with one or two physician deputy editors to drive progress in an assigned medical specialty.
• Maintain frequent contact and develop relationships with external specialty authors, editors, and peer reviewers.
• Document content developments and workflows in the proper databases.
• Ferry content through editorial process: styling and formatting manuscripts, reviewing graphics, coordinating with Graphics and Permissions teams, and coordinating with external contributors for review.
• Incorporate contributor revisions for specialty DEs to review.
• Proofread, check links and references, finalize topics and graphics for publication per UpToDate style guidelines.
• Address all editorial tasks in a timely manner.
• Track progress toward annual goals and provide accurate monthly reports.
• Prepare for and lead specialty meetings with DEs to review status and plan next steps.
