Qualifications

• Editorial experience is a plus, but not necessary.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Work with physician deputy editors to drive progress in an assigned medical specialty.
• Maintain contact with external authors, editors, and peer reviewers.
• Document content developments and workflows in the appropriate databases.
• Ferry content through editorial process: styling manuscripts, review graphics, coordinate with teams, and coordinate reviews.
• Proofread, check links/references, and finalize topics and graphics for publication.
• Address all editorial tasks in a timely manner.
• Track progress toward annual goals and produce monthly status reports.
• Prepare for and lead specialty meetings with DEs to review pending items and plan next steps.
