Universal Health Services (UHS) Georgia Business Center in Dunwoody seeks a dynamic Patient Account Representative/ Collector. The role covers billing, follow-up, and collection of patient accounts by contacting patients, insurers and third-party payers to resolve balances.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of one year experience in health care collections or related field.
• Experience with insurance billing, computer and business software programs (Excel) preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide account and billing information to patients, insurance companies and/or collection agencies.
• Control collection efforts of accounts in an organized, professional, and efficient manner.
• Analyze accounts to determine correct insurance payment based on contract rate and patient's share.
• This is an on-site/in-office position.
