Hornet Staffing, Inc., a GEE Group company, seeks a Medical AR Collections & Revenue Cycle Specialist for onsite work in Houston, TX. Ideal candidates have strong experience in insurance verification, billing and resolving denials, in a hospital setting.

You will work with Epic and Meditech, collect balances from commercial and government payers, and ensure timely reimbursement while following payer guidelines and client requirements. This role offers a stable schedule with daytime hours.

• Resolve insurance claims denials and pursue timely resolutions.

Work Arrangement: Onsite in Houston, TX

Job Description & Responsibilities :

• Experience in resolving insurance claims denials
• Must have Insurance verification, billing, corrected claims, and experience with Epic and Meditech in a hospital setting.
• Collects balances due from commercial and/or governmental insurance and third-party payers, ensuring proper reimbursement for all services.
• Identifies denied or underpaid claims and dedicates efforts to ensure proper resolution and timely turnaround within payer guidelines.
• Demonstrates knowledge of standard bill forms and filing requirements, explanation of benefits, and online payer portals and resources.

Summary:

• Provides medical collection services for TLRA collection units.
• Utilizes a strong background as a medical collection specialist to resolve accounts placed with TLRA for collection successfully.
• This involves performing collection activities related to follow-up and account resolution, including communication with patients, clients, reimbursement vendors, and other external entities, while adhering to all applicable client, state, and federal guidelines.
