Job summary

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of medical coding, reimbursement, or medical billing experience, including procedural and diagnosis coding.
• Certification from AAPC or AHIMA is acceptable and must be maintained during employment.

Responsibilities

• Review physician documentation and accurately assign ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes.
• Ensure coding accuracy, completeness, and timely submission while meeting productivity and quality standards.
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA and payer policies.
• Identify documentation deficiencies and obtain clarifications from providers.
