Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a Coding Quality Reviewer to assess medical record documentation, coding and abstracting accuracy across diverse specialties. You will work under the Pro Fee Quality Review Supervisor to ensure high-quality coding using ICD-10-CM, CPT and HCPCS standards.

The role requires 5+ years of coding or review experience, US Citizenship, and holding one of RHIA/RHIT/CCS/CPC/CIC/COC credentials. High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• US Citizenship.
• Must hold one of the following credentials: RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CPC, CIC, COC.
• Must maintain coding credential while employed by Guidehouse.
• 5+ years of coding or review experience.
• Abide by all client policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Review medical record documentation for coding accuracy using ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems.
• Assess accuracy of coding and abstraction performed by Guidehouse coding team.
• Contribute to ensuring high-quality coding across listed specialties (Orthopedics, Radiology, Pathology, etc.).
• Report findings to the Pro Fee Quality Review Supervisor and collaborate on improvements.
