Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a Coding Quality Reviewer to join our Pro Fee Quality Review team. You will access and review medical record documentation, ensuring coding and abstracting accuracy using ICD-10-CM, CPT and HCPCS coding systems.

Candidates should have US citizenship, hold a recognized coding credential (RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CPC, CIC, or COC), and bring 5+ years of coding or review experience. Excellent communication and the ability to work independently are a plus.

Qualifications

• Review medical record documentation for coding accuracy using ICD-10-CM, CPT and HCPCS.
• Demonstrate 5+ years of coding or review experience.
• Maintain coding credentials during employment with Guidehouse.
• Adhere to all client policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Access and review medical record documentation and coding/abstracting accuracy as performed by Guidehouse coding team.
• Utilize ICD-10-CM, CPT and HCPCS coding classification systems to ensure correct coding.
• Report findings to the Pro Fee Quality Review Supervisor and support quality initiatives.
