Job summary

Coding Strategies, Inc. is seeking a Trainer/Auditor to provide medical coding training and auditing services. This role involves training RCCS coders and ensuring quality compliance of coding practices.

The ideal candidate will have a national certification in coding and at least 4 years of experience in coding. The role requires strong skills in documentation and reimbursement coding, along with the ability to maintain effective client relationships.

Qualifications

• Certified in health information management or coding.
• Possess at least 4 years of coding experience.
• Knowledge of CPT, ICD-10-CM, and HCPCS coding.

Responsibilities

• Provide training to RCCS coders on processes.
• Perform coding audits and provide feedback.
• Maintain accurate records of project tasks.
• Assist in recruiting/interview processes.

Skills

Knowledge of coding, documentation, and reimbursement

Problem identification and resolution skills

Interpersonal skills for effective working relationships

Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Education

National certification in coding (AHIMA or AAPC)

4+ years coding experience
