• If RHIT eligible, must pass the RHIT test within 6 months of hire date.
• Current AHIMA membership.
• Good verbal and written communication skills; able to communicate effectively with various personality types.
• Good organizational skills with an orientation to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Assigns ICD-10, CPT and HCPCS codes to records accurately.
• Interacts with various departments to address needs and requests.
• Assists with the medical record review process.
• Reviews and works on unbilled lists.
