Qualifications

• Requires good written, oral communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology and medical terminology.
• Licensure/certification CCS or CPC preferred; three years coding experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow regulatory guidelines in reporting and sequencing of ICD-10-CM, HCPCS, and HCPCS Level II CPT codes.
• Generate coding queries to physicians to clarify patient conditions.
• Manage AR to meet 30-Day Bill Drop policy and drop dates.
• Ensure DRG/APC accuracy and compliant coding per guidelines.
