Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma with ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, CPT4/HCPCS coding knowledge and/or experience.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and human anatomy and physiology.

Responsibilities

• Abstract clinical and demographic data and apply code assignments for inpatient, outpatient, and emergency services.
• Assign ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, CPT4/HCPCS, DRG and APCs in compliance with guidelines.
• Adhere to Health Information Management department policies.
