Qualifications

• Medical coding certification CPC or RCC preferred (may be considered with coding experience).

Responsibilities

• Code and bill professional, technical, and global charges to CPT/ICD-10 with modifiers and insurance details.
• Review coding-related denials and edit as appropriate.
• Follow up on CSR and PENRAD addendum requests.
• Update patient demographic information when discrepancies exist.
• Pull reports to support coding activities.
