We are looking for a Full Time Medical Coder to join our team.

Job Duties Include

• Translating healthcare services into standardized billing codes for insurance and client billing
• Accurately translating medical procedures and diagnoses into alphanumeric codes for billing and insurance purposes
• Reviewing and analyzing medical records to identify and assign appropriate codes
• Collaborating with healthcare providers to clarify documentation and ensure completeness and accuracy
• Communicating with insurance companies and other third-party payers to resolve coding discrepancies and facilitate reimbursement
• Staying updated on industry changes, coding guidelines, and regulatory updates
• Maintaining confidentiality and security of patient information in compliance with HIPAA and clinic policies
• Working efficiently in a fast-paced environment to meet coding and billing deadlines
• Identifying and reporting coding errors or inconsistencies for timely resolution
• Collaborating with other medical coders and healthcare professionals to improve coding processes and accuracy
• Participating in training and development programs to enhance coding skills and knowledge
• Additional duties as assigned
