Job summary

Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center is seeking a Clerkship Coordinator to manage daily operations of the Clinical Department Clerkship, ensuring organization of medical student activities and LCME compliance. This role has no supervisory responsibilities and requires coordinating with multiple campuses.

The ideal candidate will organize schedules, verify mandatory requirements, and collaborate with the Clerkship Director to ensure timely evaluations and grade entries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus two (2) years related experience; OR a combination of education and/or related experience to equal six (6) years.

Responsibilities

• Creates schedules for students’ rotations and lectures in collaboration with the clerkship office in Amarillo and Lubbock.
• Ensures all medical students meet mandatory requirements and that evaluations and tests are completed on time.
• Coordinates with the Clerkship Director to ensure grades are entered and schedules are maintained.

Education

Bachelor’s degree + 2 years related experience OR equivalent 6 years of education/experience
