On-site position, with duties including revenue-cycle analysis, reporting, and collaboration with Claims Examiners. Strong Excel skills and EHR system knowledge are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Experience with ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, and inpatient billing.
• Experience with Medicare/Medicaid billing and claims.
• High School diploma or GED + 5 years of full-time data entry in claims processing.
• HIPAA regulations knowledge and Excel proficiency.
• Knowledge of EHR systems and ability to translate client needs into solutions.

Responsibilities

• Submit claims in a timely manner and resolve denials.
• Review pended and denied claims within required timeframes.
• Coordinate claim adjustments with customers.
• Identify revenue cycle issues and implement improvements.
• Respond to claims inquiries with timely information and resolution.
• Provide training and support to Claims Examiners and customers.
• Produce reports for internal teams and customers.
• Prepare written communications between departments and externally.
• Publish guidance for customers on processing claims.
• Analyze encounter data using statistical methods.
• Update billing manuals and distribute updates.
