Tyson Foods is seeking a Medical Case Manager to coordinate care for injured team members. You will liaise with plant management, medical providers, and workers’ compensation to resolve medical and administrative needs and support timely return to work.

The role emphasizes developing case management plans, coordinating with local providers, and ensuring adherence to modified duty requirements. Occasional telephonic management may occur.

Qualifications

• RN program completion or certification in vocational rehabilitation field required.
• CCMC-CCM or ABOHN-CM certification required within 36 months of hire.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in Acute Care, Emergency Care, Critical Care, Utilization Review, Orthopedics, Occupational Health, or related nursing fields.
• Case Management experience preferred; knowledge of state workers’ compensation regulations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as liaison between injured team members, plant management, medical providers, and workers’ compensation.
• Develop individualized medical case management plans and coordinate with local medical providers.
• Support injured team members through recovery and return-to-work or case settlement; initiate permanent placement when PMR are assigned.
• Ensure adherence to prescribed modified restricted duty requirements; occasional telephonic case management as needed.
