Position Overview
The Billing Specialist is responsible for providing high-quality billing services to one or more OCHIN Billing Services (OBS) member clinics. The role primarily focuses on payor follow-up and denial management, recognizing high-risk accounts, and developing techniques to improve collections and streamline processes.
The OBS team member will discuss complex or unique collection issues with the Billing Supervisor, resolve problems, apply new information to future cases, and suggest process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness with supervisor support.
This position aims to enhance the billing department's reputation by owning responsibilities for new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value.
