The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, preferably with data entry and medical billing experience. Organizational skills and attention to detail are a must.

Qualifications

• Previous data entry experience required.
• Medical billing experience desired but not required.
• Knowledge of CPT-4, HCPCS, ICD-9 codes, medical terminology a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support daily functions within the Patient Accounts department.
• Initial review of encounter forms.
• Post insurance and patient payments timely.
• Evaluate patient's financial status and establish budget payment plans.
