Job summary

Responsibilities

• Submit claims and monitor account balances.
• Collect patient information and payments.
• Generate and send invoices and follow up on past due accounts.
• Ensure accurate accounting of patient balances.
• Assist other departments as needed.
• Adhere to clinic, state, and federal regulations.
• Review claims for accuracy before submission.
• Answer incoming billing calls and resolve issues.
• Audit EMR system to ensure documents are finalized.
• Train staff on EMR processes as required.
• Maintain knowledge of CPT codes and payer requirements.
