Qualifications

• Must meet all employee health requirements.

Responsibilities

• Ensure billing compliance with managed care organizations and third-party billing.
• Investigate billing issues and resolve for accurate, timely billing.
• Answer incoming calls related to billing.
• Ensure timely, accurate billing for assigned accounts.
• Review claims for accuracy before submission.
• Report discrepancies to supervisor.
• Audit EMR system to ensure documents are finalized.
• Act as primary contact for billing questions or updates.
• Train staff on EMR processes.
• Prepare bills and invoices for medical services.
• Collect and maintain patient insurance and financial information.
• Monitor debts and unresolved accounts by filing claims as needed.
• Attend meetings as required.
• Other duties as assigned.
