• Experience handling front end rejections in billing processes.
• DME billing experience desirable.
• HIPAA compliance awareness preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure HIPAA/PHI compliance in client data processing.
• Report compliance issues to Director of Operations.
• Coordinate insurance verification and explain client co-pays.
• Follow up to collect co-pays.
• Enter payment info for client accounts when applicable.
• Input client data accurately and contact sources to complete setup.
• Verify data accuracy and completeness for billing.
• Confirm all sales orders with required documentation before claims submission.
• Follow up on missing orders and resolve billing questions until paid.
• Submit electronic and paper claims to payers in a timely manner.
• Correct and resubmit front-end and back-end rejected claims.
• Post cash to the correct accounts promptly.
• Follow up on payments due to the organization.
• Generate invoices and contact clients/payers for collections.
• Stay updated on billing regulations and reimbursement rules.
