The Fountain Group LLC is seeking a Medical Billing Specialist for a 6-month, on-site position in Lake Mary, FL. Hours are Monday–Friday, 8am–4:30pm, with a ASAP start following screenings. The role focuses on HIPAA compliance, insurance verification, and handling co-pays and billing processes.

Ideal candidates will have DME experience and the ability to manage front-end denials and resubmissions, ensure accurate data entry, and maintain timely claims submission and payment posting.

Formación

• HIPAA and PHI compliance knowledge.
• Experience with Durable Medical Equipment (DME).
• Experience verifying insurance and collecting co-pays.
• Ability to correct and resubmit rejected claims.
• Strong data entry and billing accuracy.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure HIPAA/PHI compliance in processing client information.
• Coordinate insurance verification and explain co-pay responsibilities.
• Follow up to facilitate collection of co-pays.
• Enter client data accurately and timely in the system.
• Submit claims (electronic and paper) to payers; correct rejections.
• Post cash to correct accounts and follow up on payments.
• Log inquiries and support customer service tasks as needed.
