Job summary

Excel Eye Center is seeking a dedicated medical biller to join our billing team in Utah. The successful candidate will handle patient and insurer inquiries, investigate denials, and input data into our practice management system with confidentiality.

Responsibilities include coding and auditing charges, submitting claims, resolving pre/post coding issues, and staying current with HIPAA rules. A high school diploma and prior medical billing experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills with professionalism and compassion.
• Able to work cooperatively with team members, providers, clinic staff, and industry representatives.
• Proficient with computers.
• Self-starter that can work with minimal supervision.
• Understanding of accounts receivable process, medical services, and health insurance companies.
• Previous experience with medical billing preferred.

Position Summary:

Excel Eye Center is looking for a dedicated and experienced medical billing to join our billing team.A successful candidate will be well-versed in medical insurance regulation, and an expert at responding to patient and insurance inquiries.Medical billers are responsible for investigating insurance denials, initiating payment processes, maintaining patient confidentiality, and accurately inputting patient data into our practice management system.Medical billers also work closely with other departments to successfully provide world-class service to our patients.
