Job description

At Black Hills Regional Eye Institute, we are dedicated to maintaining and enhancing the quality of life for our patients through state‑of‑the‑art medical care. We are committed to providing comprehensive eye care and surgery for children and adults.

Pay starting from $20 per hour depending on experience

Monday‑Friday 8 am to 5 pm, 40 hours per week.

As a medical billing specialist, you’ll be part of a team responsible for clinic and surgical posting of charges, posting insurance payments, working outstanding claims and patient payment arrangements.

Qualifications

• Experience in medical/surgical billing, insurance processing, and collections preferred. Previous healthcare employment required.
• Must be proficient with computers including Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Possess problem solving and critical thinking skills.
• Regular and reliable attendance.
• High level of attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational skills and communication skills.
• Ability to work quickly and accurately.
• Exercises and demonstrate good problem-resolution skills.
