Are you an experienced Medical Billing and Collections Specialist with a knack for resolving payment issues and ensuring timely collections? We're looking for a dedicated professional to join our team who will play a critical part in maintaining the financial health of our organization by tracking overdue accounts, resolving payment issues, and building effective communication channels with patients and insurance providers.
What You'll Do :
Manage and track accounts receivable to ensure timely recovery of outstanding payments.
Communicate with patients and insurance providers to resolve payment discrepancies.
Research and resolve denied or underpaid claims with insurance companies.
Assist with Accounts Payable duties such as invoice management and reconciliation, and data entry into QuickBooks.
Ensure compliance with billing regulations, including Medicare guidelines and HIPAA standards.
What We're Looking For :
Experience : Minimum of 2 years in medical billing and collections (required). Medicare experience is a plus but not mandatory.
Skills : Proficient in Microsoft Excel with strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Attributes : Loyal and dedicated professional with a stable work history (no job hoppers).
