Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in medical billing and business office operations.
• High School Diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration preferred.
• Familiar with CMS guidelines, Medicare, Medicaid and managed care rules; HIPAA compliant.

Responsibilities

• Billing and revenue cycle management for Medicare Part A/B, Medicaid, HMOs, commercial, hospice, and private pay.
• Submit claims, verify eligibility, and appeal denials when needed.
• Coordinate month-end processes with clinical and billing teams.
• Handle managed care authorizations and updates to case managers to prevent gaps.
• Process payments, post line items, and transfers between departments.
