Job summary

County College of Morris is seeking a Medical Billing Workforce Development Instructor to teach the Medical Billing certificate program. You will deliver instruction to Workforce Development students and prepare them for entry-level medical billing roles and the CPB exam.

You will teach from an approved curriculum, assess student progress, provide feedback, and help with program evaluation, while scheduling classes including days, evenings, or weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in health care related discipline is required.
• 3+ years' experience in the medical field and formal training.
• Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or Certified Billing Associate (CBA) required.

Responsibilities

• Instruct students in the Medical Billing certificate program.
• Provide Medical Billing instruction to workforce development students.
• Communicate class content to students for learning and skill development.
• Prepare students for entry-level employment as a Medical Biller and for the CPB exam.
• Instruct from approved curriculum and assess student performance.
• Suggest improvements to satisfy course standards and objectives.
• Motivate students to participate in all educational activities.
• Maintain student attendance and assist with course evaluation.
