Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in health care related discipline.
• 3+ years of medical field experience with formal training.
• CPB or Certified Billing Associate certification required.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and billing lifecycle.
• Experience with underserved populations.
• Strong computer, interpersonal and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Instruct students in the Medical Billing certificate program.
• Provide Medical Billing instruction to workforce development students.
• Prepare students for entry-level Medical Biller roles and CPB exam.
• Instruct from approved curriculum.
• Assess and provide feedback.
• Suggest improvements to meet course standards and objectives.
• Motivate students to participate in all educational activities.
• Maintain student attendance.
• Assist with course/program evaluation.
