Job summary

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in health care related discipline.
- 3+ years of medical field experience with formal training.
- CPB or Certified Billing Associate certification required.
- Knowledge of HIPAA and billing lifecycle.
- Experience with underserved populations.
- Strong computer, interpersonal and organizational skills.
Responsibilities
- Instruct students in the Medical Billing certificate program.
- Provide Medical Billing instruction to workforce development students.
- Prepare students for entry-level Medical Biller roles and CPB exam.
- Instruct from approved curriculum.
- Assess and provide feedback.
- Suggest improvements to meet course standards and objectives.
- Motivate students to participate in all educational activities.
- Maintain student attendance.
- Assist with course/program evaluation.
