Qualifications

• CPB and CPC and CPC-I certifications required for course instruction.
• Related professional experience or appropriate licensure in medical billing or coding.
• Associate’s degree or higher preferred.
• Experience with Blackboard LMS and PowerPoint is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct organized classes to meet AAPC course objectives.
• Guide students through the curriculum in classroom and online formats.
• Be available via email and phone to answer questions about online content.
• Evaluate student progress and notify about performance.
• Prepare students for AAPC Certification exams.
• Maintain professional relationships with students, colleagues and the community.
• Engage in professional development to stay current in the field.
