Job summary

UCLA Health is seeking a detail-oriented Billing Customer Service Representative to provide leading patient accounting support within a world-class health system in Los Angeles. You will handle billing duties in the patient accounting system and serve as a primary customer service resource in a high-volume call-center.

The role requires two years each of professional billing collection and customer service experience, knowledge of Medi-Cal/Medicare/HMO/PPO, familiarity with CPT/ICD-10/HCPC

Qualifications

• Two years recent professional billing collection experience as well as two years of customer service experience.
• Working experience with Medi-Cal, Medicare, HMO, and PPO insurances.
• Experience using online payer sites with the ability to check claim status, denials, and eligibility.
• Knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPC codes.
• Must be an effective multi-tasker in order to meet daily production and quality standards.

The Billing Customer Service Representative will be responsible for:

• Performing all required duties within the patient accounting system


• Serving as a primary source for Customer Service assistance and ensuring customer satisfaction

Salary Range: $30.79 - $40.60/hourly
