Providence is seeking a Billing Specialist to perform all billing, collection and follow-up for direct, third party and government patient accounts. You will serve as a resource and trainer with minimal supervision, researching payer guidelines to maintain revenue integrity and routing complex inquiries.

Qualifications

• 2 years patient accounting experience in a physician office, hospital, or medical collections.
• Extensive customer service skills as well as computer application.
• Third party follow-up, government follow-up, patient collections, account resolution, billing, and/or cash applications.

Responsabilités

• Performs all types of billing, collection and follow up functions for direct, third party and government patient accounts.
• Identifies correct coding initiative via thorough research of the claim through payer management guidelines and systems.
• Analyzes reporting for leaders to ensure compliance and prevent filing deadlines from hindering revenue intake.
