Qualifications

• 2 years patient accounting experience in a physician office, hospital, or medical collections.
• Extensive customer service skills and computer proficiency.
• Experience with third party follow-up, government follow-up, patient collections, account resolution, billing, and/or cash applications.

Responsibilities

• Perform billing, collection and follow-up for direct, third party and government patient accounts.
• Identify claim denial trends and routing for complex inquiries with minimal supervision.
• Research payer guidelines to determine correct coding and maintain revenue integrity.
• Analyze reporting for leadership to ensure compliance.
