Qualifications

• Experience working in healthcare revenue cycle and patient accounting
• Knowledge of CPT, HCPCS, ICD billing codes and authorization requirements
• Ability to perform accurate financial calculations and data entry
• Strong verbal and written communication with payers, patients and staff
• Familiarity with electronic payment posting and payer enrollment processes

Responsibilities

• Bill and collect hospital charges from multiple payers
• Post payments and reconcile accounts in the billing system
• Review accounts to ensure timely collection and accurate aging
• Identify and resolve routine and non-routine errors independently
• Maintain and update patient accounting records and documentation
