Ideal Home Care Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced Medical Billing and Coding Instructor to deliver high-quality education to students in New York. The role focuses on preparing learners for CPC, CCA and related credentials, and covering ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, and reimbursement concepts while ensuring HIPAA compliance.

You will plan lessons, assess progress, maintain records, and support career readiness in a part-time, in-person setting with day and evening shifts.

Qualificações

• Certification in Medical Billing and Coding is required.
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in medical billing, coding, or healthcare reimbursement.
• Teaching or training experience in-person or online is desirable.
• Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations, medical terminology, and coding standards (ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS).
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Responsabilidades

• Teach medical billing and coding courses including terminology, ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, insurance claims, reimbursement, and regulatory compliance.
• Use varied instructional methods: lectures, hands-on practice, real-world case studies, group activities.
• Assess student progress through quizzes, exams, and practical exercises; provide feedback.
• Prepare students for certification exams such as CPC and CCA.
• Develop lesson plans, materials, and assignments aligned with standards.
