The College of Health Care Professions is seeking a Medical Coding and Billing Instructor to deliver competency-based education aligned with our curriculum. You will design instructional plans for both on-campus and blended delivery, assess student performance, and provide timely feedback to support success.

Qualifications

• Certificate, degree, or post-secondary education and relevant experience meeting state (TWC) and accreditation requirements.
• One to two years of instruction experience in a post-secondary or college setting.
• Certification, registry, and/or licensure in the field of instruction as recognized by state regulatory agencies.

Responsibilities

• Deliver competency-based education aligned with CHCPs curriculum model.
• Design and execute instructional plans for residential and blended formats.
• Foster a learning-centered environment with clear performance criteria.
• Provide timely feedback to students and track attendance and grades.
• Participate in faculty and advisory meetings and contribute to curriculum.
