Responsibilities

• Post patient and insurance payments and handle electronic posting.
• Manage primary and secondary claim denials and appeals.
• Process accounts for collections and prepare refunds.
• Answer patient billing questions and assist with inquiries.
• Obtain authorizations/referrals for surgeries and procedures.
• Prepare patient billing estimates and follow up on payments.
• Handle policy updates and communicate changes to staff.
