Job summary

Las Vegas Urology LLP seeks a patient-focused Medical Billing Specialist to join its team across clinics in Las Vegas. You will post charges, manage A/R, and follow up with insurers on denials, while maintaining HIPAA compliance. Strong connectivity with front desk staff and ongoing development are expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in medical billing/collection and coding practices.
• Familiar with CPT/ICD-10 codes.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and basic office equipment.

Responsibilities

• Post charges and manage accounts receivable; ensure batch accuracy.
• Follow up with insurers on denials and underpayments.
• Process credit card payments upfront and handle payments at point of service.
• Respond to patient and front office inquiries with tact and accuracy.
• Review EOBs to identify denials or underpayments and correct as needed.
• Prepare monthly AR reports and assist with related projects.
