Job summary

HireCall is seeking a detail-oriented Medical Biller – AR/Charge Entry Specialist to join a busy specialty medical practice in Tulsa, OK. This role focuses on accurate charge entry, billing, and follow-up with insurance claims in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Ideal candidates have experience with ICD-10 and CPT coding, EHR systems, and strong organizational skills. CPC certification is a plus but not required; full-time on-site with regular weekday hours.

Qualifications

• Experience in medical billing, AR/Charge Entry and accounts receivable follow-up preferred.
• Familiarity with ICD-10 and CPT coding, and medical terminology.
• Proficiency with EHR systems and MS Office

Responsibilities

• Accurately enter charges for hospital, dialysis, and office visits using ICD-10 and CPT codes.
• Review medical documentation to ensure accurate billing and identify missed charges.
• Follow up on denied, rejected, held, or unpaid insurance claims.
• Work with providers to resolve documentation or coding discrepancies.
• Monitor patient visit documentation within EHR systems.
• Respond to patient billing and account inquiries.
• Maintain accurate insurance records and assist with scanning and documentation.
• Collaborate with clinical, administrative, and billing teams to ensure timely claim processing.
