Calance, Inc. is seeking a Medical Biller for a 12‑month contract in Nashville, TN. The role is initially onsite during training, with potential for a hybrid schedule after training and demonstration of proficiency.

Hours are 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with a one‑hour lunch break. The pay rate is $30.00/hour (W2 only). The position focuses on billing operations, revenue cycle support, and process improvement, requiring experience with medical billing and HIPAA, plus proficiency in

Qualifications

• Experience in medical billing, Medicaid, or healthcare revenue cycle operations.
• Claims processing or encounter management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (intermediate).
• Investigating billing discrepancies.
• Process improvement or workflow analysis.
• Data validation and quality assurance.
• Maintaining confidential health information (HIPAA).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Billing Operations: entry of encounters, posting payments, updating provider info, HIPAA compliance, monthly billing reports.
• Revenue Cycle Support: investigate billing discrepancies, root cause analysis, monitor timelines for timely filing.
• Billing Process Improvement: map workflows, test new processes, document SOPs, support third‑party solutions.
