Job summary

Qualifications

• Medical billing, Medicaid, or healthcare revenue cycle operations.
• Claims processing or encounter management experience.
• Microsoft Excel (intermediate level).
• Investigating billing discrepancies and root cause analysis.
• Process improvement or workflow analysis experience.
• Data validation and quality assurance processes.
• Maintaining confidential health information (HIPAA) principles.
• Ability to learn and use multiple software systems.
• Following detailed written procedures with accuracy.
• Strong ability to work independently while managing priorities.

Responsibilities

• TennCare Billing Operations: enter encounters, post payments, update provider data, and generate monthly billing reports.
• Revenue Cycle Support: research discrepancies, address denials, reconcile data, and monitor timely filing.
• Billing Process Improvement: map workflows, support automation plans, test new processes, and document changes.
