Job summary

Mosaic Group, LLC, North Carolina's leading ABA provider, is hiring a full-time Medical Biller to join our growing team. You will handle submission and follow-up on insurance claims for our ABA services, ensuring confidentiality and professionalism with staff, clients, and payors.

Ideal candidates bring at least 2 years of outpatient medical billing experience, familiarity with EMR (Central Reach preferred), HIPAA knowledge, and solid Excel/Office skills.

Qualifications

• Excellent organization, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience using electronic medical record applications (Central Reach preferred).
• Working knowledge of HIPAA regulations.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
• Good organization and time-management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and/or G-suite (Word, Excel).
• Minimum of 2 years outpatient medical billing experience (ABA billing a plus).

Responsibilities

• File initial and secondary insurance claims electronically via EMR software.
• Post payments and reconcile claims.

Medical Biller

Mosaic is seeking a full-time Medical Biller to join our growing team and assist in different areas of billing for our applied behavior analysis service line. The individual must maintain a high degree of confidentiality and professionalism to work successfully with staff members, clients, and payors. This individual will be responsible for the submission of and follow‑up on claims to insurance companies including commercial payors and Medicaid.

Primary Responsibilities

• File initial and secondary insurance claims electronically via EMR software.
• Post payments and reconcile claims.
• Research and resolve claim issues/denied claims with payors.
• Proactively manage accounts receivable.
• Investigate and resolve payment recoupment requests.

Education, Experience, and Skills
