• Instructors must have graduated from an accredited dental assisting program.
• Clinical experience in dentistry or a dental specialty is required.
• Must hold CDA certification by DANB and current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Teach or assist with all levels of courses within the Dental Assisting curriculum.
• Prepare instructional materials supporting course and program outcomes.
• Supervise and evaluate student knowledge, technical skills, and clinical competencies.
• Provide timely feedback and remediation in labs and courses.
• Collaborate on curriculum revisions reflecting trends and CODA standards.
• Abide by OSHA regulations and policies for a safe learning environment.
• Abide by college policies and standards.
