Job summary

Baptist Health Urgent Care in Hot Springs, AR, is seeking experienced Medical Assistants or Limited License X-Ray Techs for PRN work. The role provides clinical and administrative support to ensure high-quality patient care, including vitals, patient prep, and documentation.

The position involves rotating shifts, on-site work, and benefits for full-time and PRN staff. Applicants should have a high school diploma, BLS, and CMA certification preferred, with AR X-ray licensing potential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• BLS Certification required.
• Certified Medical Assistant is preferred.
• Willingness to obtain AR Limited X-Ray License is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients promptly in waiting area, exam room, or x-ray room.
• Communicates wait times and directs patients to next steps in treatment.
• Assists with patient questions and emergent situations.
• Performs follow-up calls with urgency.
• Assists front desk with patient check-in/out when needed.
• Documents vital signs, history, medications, allergies and other pertinent information.
• Assists with patient transfers and procedures supervised by the provider.
• Ensures accurate documentation of patient visits.
