Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant Program.
• Current BLS/CPR certification required.
• Limited Scope Rad Tech Certification required.
• Medical Assistant Certificate of Completion and/or one year experience.
• Familiarity with medical terminology required.
• Experience with patient check-in and check-out per clinic protocol.

Responsibilities

• Participates in decision-making and process improvement.
• Assist with daily clerical operations, including answering multi-phone lines and copying documents.
• Accurately files patient charts and scans documents.
• Schedules patient appointments, return visits, and specialists.
• Pre-authorizes prescriptions and clinical tests (CT, MRI, Ultrasound, etc.).
• X-Ray: perform required procedures with basic/limited scope reporting and maintain records.
• Other duties as assigned.
