Job summary

Universal Health Services (IPM) clinics in the Rio Grande Valley are seeking a Medical Assistant to support examination and treatment under physician supervision. You will interview patients, measure vital signs, venipuncture, and prepare rooms.

You will file charts, schedule appointments, pre-authorize prescriptions, and assist at the front desk as needed. Required are a high school diploma, completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program, and current BLS/CPR.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant Program.
• Current BLS/CPR certification required.
• Familiarity with medical terminology.
• Experience with patient check-in and check-out processes.

Responsibilities
